Über die Tour
Hast du schonmal die Nobelpreisverleihungen in Oslo und Stockholm im Fernsehen mitverfolgt? Dann ist die Chance groß, dass du zwei der drei (es gibt auch noch eins in Kopenhagen) der wunderschönen Rathäuser Skandinaviens gesehen hast. Wenn nicht, dann empfehlen wir unsere private barrierefreie Stadtführung Oslo & Rathaus, denn unserer bescheidenen Meinung nach ist das Osloer Rathaus ein echter Geheimtipp.
Wir beginnen in der Nähe des Osloer Hauptbahnhofs mit dem Osloer Tiger. Falls du nicht ganz verstehst, wie die beiden (Oslo und der Tiger) zusammenpassen, mach dir keine Sorgen, wir werden dich nicht im Unklaren lassen! Vom Dschungel bis zum Meer geht es weiter zum Wasser. Da Oslo am Oslofjord liegt, ist es überall und bietet viele tolle Aussichten, wie die auf die Osloer Oper und Aker Brygge. Auf dem Weg zum Osloer Rathaus schlendern wir durch die Straßen der Osloer Innenstadt, entdecken berühmte Sehenswürdigkeiten und ergänzen diese mit Geschichten über mittelalterliche Burgen, wie die Festung Akershus, und berühmte Norweger wie Edvard Munch an der Universität von Oslo.
Wenn man nach oben schaut, sieht man ein imposantes Backsteingebäude, das auf den ersten Blick etwas bescheiden wirkt. Wir stehen vor dem Osloer Rathaus, und es ist Zeit, hineinzugehen. Die sorgfältig dekorierten Säle sind bestimmt für Hochzeitsgesellschaften, Politiker und Nobelpreisträger. Wenn der Hauptsaal dir bekannt vorkommt, liegt das daran, dass hier jedes Jahr am 10. Dezember der Friedensnobelpreis verliehen wird.

A few hundred years ago, if you asked a Norwegian how old they were they might reply “I have seen forty winters!” Every year of life was a success! Now, living conditions are of course much improved, but there is no such thing as a mild winter here. Bring thermal underwear, wool and grow a beard... if you can. ❄️☃️☃️
Of course, if you love the snow and want to ski, then you`re in the perfect place, and you get to see the beauty of Oslo in a truly Nordic light! The canvas of white snow - unpredictable but usually arriving in November/December - can provide a canvas of light across the city that makes up for the few hours of sunlight the people of Oslo get to enjoy.
