Über die Tour
Hast du schon mal von Grünerløkka gehört? Falls nicht, dann ist es jetzt soweit! In wenigen Worten gesagt, ist es ein Viertel, in dem man eine außergewöhnliche Food Hall, viele Restaurants und Bars, originelle Design-Läden und als Krönung einen Fluss und einen Wasserfall vorfindet, der direkt durch das Viertel fließt. Wir können uns keine bessere Möglichkeit vorstellen, Oslos Boheme-Seele zu entdecken, als mit dem Fahrrad, auf unserer privaten Fahrradtour Hipstorisches Grünerløkka. Bist du dabei?
Wir beginnen im Stadtzentrum und fahren an der berühmten Oper von Oslo vorbei, wobei wir natürlich einen Fotostopp einlegen, wenn wir am Osloer Hafen entlang fahren und den Blick auf den Osloer Fjord genießen. Plötzlich taucht ein Bach auf, der fröhlich dahin plätschert und über Steine und Äste sprudelt – der Beginn des Akerselva-Flusses. Mit dem Ziel, einen beeindruckenden Wasserfall zu erreichen, fahren wir entlang des Flusses, der von alten Industriegebäuden, bunten städtischen Wohnhäusern und Erholungsgebieten umgeben ist. Fast zu schön, um wahr zu sein!
Später stoßen wir auf einen riesigen Kronleuchter in Blå, eine überaus beliebte Food Hall in Vulkan und die charmanten Ansammlungen alter Holzhäuser aus dem 19. Jahrhundert in Telthusbakken und Damstredet. Wir lassen unsere Fahrräder stehen, damit du deine Kamera herausholen kannst, denn von den malerischen Häusern und Gärten in den Bergen wirst du bestimmt gerne ein Foto machen wollen. Als nächstes ist der Friedhof unseres Erlösers dran, auf dem wir keine Geringeren als Edvard Munch, Ibsen und Bjørnson besuchen werden. Du weißt nicht, wer die letzte Person ist? Keine Sorge, wir werden dich schon informieren!
Schon bald sind wir wieder am Ausgangspunkt unsere Reise angekommen. Natürlich werden wir in Mathallen, der Food Hall, Halt gemacht haben, um uns die Beine zu vertreten und einen Snack zu uns zu nehmen. Hoffentlich hast du dich inzwischen in das verliebt, was wir gerne als Oslos Hipster-Mekka bezeichnen: Grünerløkka.
Hinweis: Wir fahren meistens auf ebenen Wegen, aber auch über einige Hügel. Am Anfang der Tour geht es haupsächlich bergauf. Wir empfehlen dir, eine Flasche Wasser mitzunehmen. Mathallen ist montags geschlossen.
