Über die Tour
Bist du der aktive Typ, der ein Fahrradkönigreich erleben möchte? Normalerweise würden wir dafür die Niederlande oder Dänemark empfehlen, aber da du schon mal hier bist, machen wir eine Ausnahme. Auf unserer privaten Fahrradtour Königliches Oslo ehren wir die norwegischen Royals, wenn wir das Stadtzentrum erkunden, in dem sich der charmante Königspalast, die Festung Akershus und die Kathedrale von Oslo befinden.
Beginnen wir mit dem Königspalast, dem offiziellen Sitz des Königs und der Königin. Auf unserem Weg durch die Palastanlage möchten wir dir das Interesse der Königin an der Kunst und das des Königs an internationalem Sport näher bringen. Wir werden Fragen beantworten, wie zum Beispiel, wo der Ursprung der norwegischen Monarchie liegt, wie sich der Kronprinz und Mette Marit kennengelernt haben und wie viele Paläste der norwegischen Königsfamilie zur Verfügung stehen.
Ein Katzensprung vom Königspalast aus finden wir die Kathedrale von Oslo, die wichtigste Kirche Norwegens, in der eine Bürgerliche im Jahr 2001 zur Kronprinzessin wurde. Schon ist es Zeit, mit dem Fahrrad zur Akershus-Festung hinüber zu düsen. Die ehemalige königliche Residenz, die zum Schutz der Stadt gebaut wurde, wurde auch als Militärbasis und Gefängnis genutzt. Heute dient sie als temporäres Büro des norwegischen Ministerpräsidenten.
Und ehe man sich versieht, ist die Zeit vorbei, aber bevor wir dich gehen lassen, nehmen wir uns Zeit für die Ruinen des mittelalterlichen Oslo, wo wir vor Harald III., dem letzten Wikingerkönig und Gründer Oslos, niederknien und durch die Ruinen der Altstadt spazieren werden. Wenn du uns vor Beginn der Tour anrufst, haben wir eine größere Chance, dir bei der Orientierung zu helfen.

Water, energy bars, rain poncho and souvenirs are available for purchase in the Viking Biking shop.
Norwegen ist ein Land mit vier Jahreszeiten. Wir empfehlen dir, dich entsprechend zu kleiden.
Hinweis: Wir fahren meistens auf ebenen Wegen, aber auch über einige Hügel. Wir empfehlen dir, eine Flasche Wasser mitzunehmen. Die Festung Akershus und der Königspalast werden nur von außen besichtigt. Die Oslo Domkyrka (Oslo Kathedrale) kann manchmal wegen religiöser Zeremonien geschlossen sein.

A few hundred years ago, if you asked a Norwegian how old they were they might reply “I have seen forty winters!” Every year of life was a success! Now, living conditions are of course much improved, but there is no such thing as a mild winter here. Bring thermal underwear, wool and grow a beard... if you can. ❄️☃️☃️
Of course, if you love the snow and want to ski, then you`re in the perfect place, and you get to see the beauty of Oslo in a truly Nordic light! The canvas of white snow - unpredictable but usually arriving in November/December - can provide a canvas of light across the city that makes up for the few hours of sunlight the people of Oslo get to enjoy. While still beautiful, it`s best to stay inside! ✨✨
