Die Kopenhagener lieben das Wasser! Seit Jahrhunderten lebt die Stadt vom Meer, zunächst als Handelszentrum und nun als beliebtes Urlaubsziel! Ob mit den Langbooten der Wikinger oder mit Kreuzfahrtschiffen – viele kamen und kommen auf dem Wasserweg nach Kopenhagen, oder wenn nicht, findet man sie doch irgendwann auf dem Wasser (meistens auf einer Kanalrundfahrt). Daher ist es nur natürlich, dass man bei unserer privaten Stadtführung durch Kopenhagen immer ein Plätschern im Hintergrund hört, wenn wir von berühmten Dänen erzählen oder dir die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt zeigen.
Hast du dich jemals gefragt, warum die Dänen die glücklichsten Menschen der Welt sind? Oder wie viele Märchen Hans Christian Andersen geschrieben hat? Wir haben die Antworten! Wir starten mit der Geschichte von Schloss Christiansborg, einem Treffpunkt für Royals und Politiker. Weiter geht es zu den bunten Stadthäusern von Nyhavn, und im Schloss Charlottenborg wartet zeitgenössische Kunst auf dich. Auch die Marmorkirche, die sich gleich neben dem Schloss Amalienborg befindet (dem zu Hause von Königin Margarethe II., Kronprinz Frederik und Kronprinzessin Mary), solltest du dir nicht entgehen lassen.
Wir werden das Stadtzentrum unserer privaten Stadtführung durch Kopenhagen am Kongens Nytorv beenden, direkt am Nyhavn. Hier könntest du dir eine Kanalrundfahrt gönnen (falls du das noch nicht gemacht hast, ist jetzt der perfekte Zeitpunkt). Oder du besuchst die ehemalige Sommerresidenz der Königsfamilie Schloss Rosenborg und den Königsgarten, beides nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt. Oder vielleicht möchtest du die Aussicht vom Turm von Schloss Christiansborg genießen? In 15 Minuten bist du dort hingelaufen. So viele Möglichkeiten – du hast die freie Auswahl!

Now, living conditions are of course much improved, but there is no such thing as a mild winter here. Bring thermal underwear, wool and grow a beard... if you can. ❄️☃️☃️
Of course, if you love the snow and want to ski, then you`re in the perfect place, and you get to see the beauty of Oslo in a truly Nordic light! The canvas of white snow - unpredictable but usually arriving in November/December - can provide a canvas of light across the city that makes up for the few hours of sunlight the people of Oslo get to enjoy. While still beautiful, it`s best to stay inside! ✨✨
