Ist dir schon aufgefallen, dass die Norweger immer draußen und dann nie sauer sind? Hast du schon einmal von „Ut på tur, aldri sur“ gehört – dem norwegischen Reim, der „Auf Tour kann man nicht sauer sein“ bedeutet? Egal ob Regen oder Sonnenschein, die Norweger genießen die vielen Radwege, Waldwanderwege und Skipisten im ganzen Land und sogar in und um Oslo. Zieh dir wetterfeste Kleidung an (die Norweger sagen, es gibt kein schlechtes Wetter, nur schlechte Kleidung), und gemeinsam werden wir in der Innenstadt von Oslo erleben, was „Ut på tur, aldri sur“ bedeutet.
Beim Nobel-Friedenszentrum, das sich an der Hafenpromenade von Aker Brygge befindet, geht es los. In der Nachbarschaft befindet sich das Rathaus von Oslo und die Festung Akershus, wo wir Oslos Geschichten erzählen und dir verraten, wann Oslo seinen aktuellen Namen erhielt (denn die Stadt hieß auch mal anders)!
Wir nähern uns dem Wasser, und in der Ferne erscheint ein Gebäude, das aus dem Meer emporsteigt (so scheint es zumindest). Vor dir liegt das Osloer Opernhaus, Heimat der norwegischen Nationaloper und des Nationalballetts. Einzigartig an der Osloer Oper sind die mehrmals im Jahr stattfindenden Aufführungen auf dem Dach. Und man muss noch nicht mal ein Mitglied der königlichen Familie sein, um bei diesem exklusiven Erlebnis dabei sein zu dürfen!
Damit du deinem inneren Norweger noch weiter auf die Spur kommst, behandeln wir auch Themen wie Sitten und Gebräuche, Feiertagsfeste und typisch norwegisches Essen. Dabei genießt du eine „koselig“ (gemütliche) Zeit in einem örtlichen Café mit Kaffee und Kuchen. Gestärkt beenden wir die A bis Zs von „Ut på tur, aldri sur“ mit der Universität, dem Königspalast und dem Nationaltheater mitten im Stadtzentrum.

Now, living conditions are of course much improved, but there is no such thing as a mild winter here. Bring thermal underwear, wool and grow a beard... if you can. ❄️☃️☃️
Of course, if you love the snow and want to ski, then you`re in the perfect place, and you get to see the beauty of Oslo in a truly Nordic light! The canvas of white snow - unpredictable but usually arriving in November/December - can provide a canvas of light across the city that makes up for the few hours of sunlight the people of Oslo get to enjoy.
