Did you know that Filippa K started their journey by selling jeans out of the trunk of their car? Or that Swedish Hasbeens started with the hottest mum of southern Sweden in the 70s and her 300 pairs of red, white and black clogs found again in 2006. Serving as inspiration for the shoes they produce today, which have graced the feet of local Stockholmers and Sarah Jessica Parker alike.
When we explore Stockholm in high heels (actually, we recommend comfortable walking shoes), we will visit stores and brands such as H&M, Happy Socks, Nudie Jeans, and Grandpa, to name but a few possibilities. To get from one side of town to the other, we’ll hop aboard one of the local buses and travel to the island of Södermalm, Mecca of vintage, trendy, second-hand and local shops. What stores we visit depends on the day of the week and time of day, but no matter what, we ensure you an enjoyable time getting to know Swedish fashion.
