Accessible tours in Copenhagen

We’re one of the leading tour agencies in Copenhagen because we have a passion for providing a memorable experience for all those travelling to Denmark’s famous capital. Known for its medieval and renaissance architecture, some areas of the city maintain this historical landscape. And yet, Copenhagen is also a modern city that welcomes all visitors. So while some challenges exist in getting around, all of our disabled guests can feel comfortable that our guides can give you the adventure you came to Copenhagen for.

How accessible is the city of Copenhagen?

Copenhagen opens its welcoming arms to all. Everyone can feel included in this proud city of Scandinavia. It’s easy to get to most sites from the centre of the capital, so you’ll be free to investigate the city with relative ease. An added convenience is that most places of interest cater to guests of all mobilities. This includes ramps and lifts being found in many of the popular destinations you’re likely to wish to visit while you are in Copenhagen. Disabled toilets are available in most locations as are many other wheelchair-friendly amenities. Before you begin your tour with us, your guide and driver will be aware of where these facilities are.

How can OURWAY Tours accommodate my needs?

We have a variety of accessible tours in Copenhagen – both driving and walking tours. If you choose a driving tour, in a location convenient to you, we’ll pick you up in your own wheelchair accessible vehicle. Your guide and driver will transport you to the key sites in Copenhagen, depending on your choice of our Accessible Driving Tours (see below). All our guides understand the needs of our mobility-impaired guests, and we consider the terrain, amenities and accessibility of all destinations and provide the support you require. From the very start, your guide will discuss and understand your needs with you – being flexible should your needs change during the tour.

You’ll leave Copenhagen with many stories, pictures, and fascinating facts to share with loved ones back home. We’re happy to help with any questions you may have so you can plan the trip that’s just perfect for you. Our team is here to support you, and we can’t wait to welcome you to Denmark’s capital.
