The story about the tour
Exit your hotel into a car or coach. Are you ready for a few hours of everything, Copenhagen? This may be your first encounter with Copenhagen; we want it to be the best! We take to both land and sea on this all-in-one city shore excursion to cover it all.
Starting on land, driving past one of Northern Europe’s best-preserved fortresses, the Citadel, we arrive at its very special neighbour. Relaxing on a seaside rock, she dreams of a life on land… can you guess who the girl who wants to be part of our world is? Gather your friends for a groupie (“group selfie”) before we bid farewell to the little statue, starting our city sightseeing tour. From Nyboder to Rosenborg Castle to Christianshavn to Copenhagen City Hall, we’ll cover all the main highlights of the Danish capital in just the right amount of time, stopping for photos along the way.
Now that we’ve covered the city by land… Do you know what that means? We take to the sea and experience one of the Copenhageners’ favourite places – the harbour. If it’s nice and sunny, we’ll see Danes lounging by the water, practising the art of “hygge.” If the weather is not so nice, well… you’ll probably still see daring Danes taking a dip, practising… you guessed it, the art of “hygge”! Hopping aboard a small-group canal tour, we say hello to the sights we haven’t seen from land. There are so many to see Amalienborg Palace, the Circle Bridge, The Royal Danish Opera, and houseboats lining Christianshavn Canal!
When your camera is full of photos for your next social media post, we arrive back to land, and a short drive away, we finish our shore excursion, where we picked you up. If you would like to look around on your own, we’ll happily drop you off in the centre with some of our favourite recommendations.
