The story about the tour
Quiet canals, charming houseboats, historical buildings and contemporary architecture await you on our Copenhagen Landmarks Private Canal Cruise. Departing from Ofelia Plads, next to the Royal Danish Playhouse, cruise the canals of Copenhagen with a local who feels like a longtime friend (aka your Captain). We’ll see a lot in a short time, covering everything from Christiansborg Palace (seat of the Danish Parliament) to the BLOX (also known as the home of the Danish Architecture Center).
Make sure you keep your eyes gazing toward some of Copenhagen’s coolest bridges, the Inner Harbour Bridge the Circle Bridge, both welcoming bikes zooming over them (but no cars). During your stay, you are sure to see locals and visitors peddling, strolling or lounging by the waterside – it’s one of the best places to enjoy Copenhagen. Just ask any local!
Lucky for you, you are in a boat, enjoying the harbour from the water. We’ll not only tell you stories, but we also want you to have a good time like you are hanging out with a friend (who happens to know a lot about the city).
From harbour to canal and back again, we’ll cover topics such as the Copenhagen Opera House, the merchant town turned city district, Christianshavn and Amager Bakke, powerplant and year-round ski destination (on green silicone that is). Before you know time is up and we’re sailing back into Ofelia Plads. Hop off and continue exploring the city by land now that you have seen it by sea. You’ll be as happy as you can be!

Please be at the departure point, Ofelia Plads, next to the Royal Danish Playhouse – located along the harbour front, 10 minutes early to check-in for your tour.Look for Hey Captains Blue Minibus found at Ofelia Plads. If you have trouble locating the guide or the meeting point, please give us a call a few minutes before the start of the tour. When you call before the tour begins, we have a greater chance of helping you find your way. Denmark is a country with four seasons. Please dress accordingly.
