Our Oslo & Vigeland Park Accessible Private Driving Tour takes you on a to-the-point driving tour of the city’s must-sees, including the world’s largest sculpture park. We guarantee tales of people, history, traditions and more!
The story about the tour
If you want to know all there is to know about the capital of Norway and visit one of its principal attractions in a short amount of time, our Oslo & Vigeland Park Accessible Private Driving Tour is the tour for you!
We start the tour by picking you up in an accessible van equipped with a ramp making it possible to stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter as we travel through Oslo’s city centre. Cruising the streets, we’ll pass the most well-known sights, including Akershus Fortress, built to protect Oslo, Oslo City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded, and the Oslo Opera House finished ahead of time(!).
On our way to Vigeland Park, we’ll also catch the National Theatre and the Royal Palace, located along the main shopping street of Oslo city centre. Swapping the city centre for the Frogner district, we travel through Oslo’s most elegant residential area. Aside from the fact that it’s beautiful, what are we doing here? We’re here to check out the most awe-inspiring sight of them all, Vigeland Park. Known as the world’s largest sculpture park, created by one man alone, it’s the very best that the Norwegian capital has to offer. As we walk through the park, we’ll share the story of Gustav Vigeland. The photo opportunities are many, including The Monolith, Fountain and Bridge… make sure you are ready!
After our exploration of Vigeland Park is complete, we cruise back to the city centre and return you to your starting point. You should now have a good starting point to dive deeper into all that is Oslo!

Happy Nobel Day! 💡 As Nobel Week was cancelled in 2020, Nobel lectures, prizes and banquets were replaced with Nobel Week Lights - light installations inspired by Nobel Prize-awarded findings and laureates. As the festivities are now back, we sure hope that we are so lucky that the artwork brightening up the city during the darkest month of the year; is a December tradition that has come to stay. 💫
🇸🇪

It’s a contested issue amongst numerous Baltic connected countries as to who invented the Ice-skate. Was it the Finns or the Dutch? All of this is irrelevant because the best city to ice-skate in is Stockholm. If you want to show off your Quadruple Axel in front of the masses, the ice-rink in Kungsträdgården is the perfect location. ✨⛸️✨

Don`t let its controversy cloud your curiosity as Christianshavns characteristic slanting roofs and canals, as well as the tremendous Church of Our Saviour, are well worth seeing. Not to forget the Færgecafé or Café Parterre who are both worth visiting.
