Take in one of Oslo’s number one must-sees, explore the city centre of Oslo and hear stories of Norwegian culture, customs, history and more on our Oslo & Vigeland Park Accessible Private Walking Tour. What are you waiting for?
The story about the tour
Looking for a comprehensive adventure that will amaze you with what the Norwegian capital offers? Look no further! Together we’ll chisel out a flawless experience as we make our way down the smooth street surfaces of the city centre of Oslo, ending up in one of our all-time favourite parks, Vigeland Park.
Starting with the Nobel Peace Center, where we have an incredible view of the Oslo Fjord, we’ll give you the lay of the land as we introduce you to Oslo. Speaking of spectacular views, what about the one of Akershus Fortress standing guard and watching over Oslo’s waterfront and Aker Brygge? Or the one of the Royal Palace from the main pedestrian shopping street, Karl Johans gate? As that wasn’t enough, our accessible promenade through Oslo’s city centre also takes us past several national treasures, including the National Theatre and Oslo City Hall. Do you still want more? No problem; next up is an Oslo must-see like no other!
We’ll jump on the bus (accessible, with low floors) through and to the area of Frogner, where the magnific gates of Vigeland Park will welcome us. It’s hard to believe that one man, Gustav Vigeland, made the hundreds of sculptures that make up the world’s largest sculpture park. We guarantee euphoria as the park is jaw-dropping! We want to take our time with the experience; if you wish, you can choose to finish your tour in Vigeland Park after a short guided tour. Or if you prefer to begin the tour with Vigeland Park and end in the city centre, that’s another option.
Before you know it, we’ve covered one of Oslo’s number one must-sees, including the city centre, in an accessible mode with our Oslo & Vigeland Park Private Accessible Walking Tour. It’s almost too good to be true.
