On our Stockholm & Royal Palace Private Driving Tour, enjoy a scenic drive through Stockholm’s city centre as we treat you to the majestic highlights of the city. To complete the experience, we’ll visit the Royal Palace with its exquisitely decorated interior.
Step into your private vehicle and sit back and relax as we introduce you to the inner-city districts of Norrmalm, Södermalm, Djurgården, the Old Town and Kungsholmen. Jam-packed with must-sees, on our drive of Stockholm, we’ll take in sites such as the Vasa Museum, Stockholm City Hall, Coronation Church, and Concert Hall, to name but a few.
Arriving at the Old Town, we’ll make our way to the Royal Palace and enter what is known as the official residence of the King and Queen. It’s time to make dreams come true! Not wasting any time, we’ll head straight for the creme de la creme, also known as the Royal Apartments. Do you know which famous Swedish band performed for the Crown Princess’s wedding afterparty in 2010? Or which international superstar group released a song for the wedding of the King and Queen of Sweden in 1976? While we are there, we’ll also cover why royals are not coronated today, where parliament once used to open, and state dinners take place. This is only the beginning!
After an hour or so, our visit to the Royal Palace comes to an end. We return to the vehicle waiting to take us back to where we started, having fulfilled a dream and all the more knowledgeable on Swedish royals through the centuries. Not bad for a morning or afternoon out!?
