It’s getting closer to the end of summer and Copenhagen is really stepping it up! August is filled with fun events, so you can squeeze out the last of this summer. Here’s three festivals you can attend in Copenhagen in August.

Copenhagen Summer Festival
At the lovely setting of Kongens Nytorv, Copenhagen Summer Festival is arranged each year, since 1969. The festivals mission is to present new talents within classical chamber music. Upcoming stars get paired up with established artists. In 12 days, 13 concerts will take place. See the program here!

UHØRT Music Festival
UHØRT literally means unheard, and that is exactly what this festival is all about – to present new music from Denmark. The artists that get to play at UHØRT have been hand-picked by a jury of 35 people, with people from the music industry. From Friday to Sunday, 18th – 19th August on Enghavevej 80-82 in Vesterbro the festival will take place. You can buy your tickets here.

Strøm Festival in Copenhagen
If electronic music is your cup of tea, Strøm will be a festival in your taste. The concerts, with some of the greatest name within electronic scene right now, are free. The events takes place all over the city. Find the artists that are playing here.
