Where do politicians and royalty hang out in Copenhagen? We’ll check their HQ and the city out on our Copenhagen & Christiansborg Palace Private Driving Tour. Fastened your seatbelt; it’s time for photo stops, a scenic drive and fun!
The story about the tour
Bow for Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark, or at least duck your head while stepping into your awaiting vehicle if she’s not nearby! It’s time to set off on an adventure through Copenhagen. From Citadel to Christianshavn to Christiansborg Palace, we’ll cover it all from the comfort of your private vehicle on our Copenhagen & Christiansborg Palace Private Driving Tour. Buckle up!
Before our appointment with the powerhouse palace, home to royalty and politicians (or at least their offices), we have some ground to cover, introducing you to the people of Denmark and the sights of Copenhagen. On our journey, we’ll cover everything from the Danes being the happiest people in the world to the loveable fairytale author and national treasure in himself, Hans Christian Andersen. We won’t leave out some of the city’s most exquisite new architectural masterpieces, such as the Copenhagen Opera House and The Black Diamond; the home of the Queen of Denmark, Amalienborg Palace; or the spectacular Renaissance castle Rosenborg.
Before you know it, it’s time for our appointment at Christiansborg Palace. Arriving at the fifth of its kind (have we forgotten to mention the fires?), Christiansborg Palace is the seat of the Danish Parliament and the location of the Queen’s Royal Reception Rooms. Behind its stone facade hides grandeur and opulence fit for royalty – funny enough, it used to be the home of the Royals once upon a time. The Palace is like an art collection. Our favourites, you ask? They include the beautiful Palace Library with over three kilometres of shelves, The Queen’s Tapestries in The Great Hall, and The Throne Room with its balcony from which the ruler of Denmark is declared.
On our Copenhagen & Christiansborg Palace Private Driving Tour, you’ll experience the epicentre of Denmark (or at least Danish politics) and what its home, Copenhagen, has to offer!
