Our Stockholm food tour Culinary Södermalm goes through all types of exotic, multicultural and fun restaurants available in surprisingly international Stockholm.
Södermalm was home to most industries and, consequently, the city’s working-class until the 1980s. With a steady influx of students, artists and microbreweries, it has since turned bohemian, chic and relaxed, with a great diversity in the restaurant and pub scene. While the previously common (and rather charming!) beer shacks serving sausage and egg sandwiches are getting increasingly thin on the ground, chefs rush to open restaurants in this vibrant part of the city.
Follow the path of Culinary Södermalm while your guide seasons your journey with local history.
