The story about the tour
If you want to know all there is to know about the capital of Norway and visit one of its principal attractions in a short amount of time, our Oslo & Vigeland Park Accessible Private Driving Tour is the tour for you!
We start the tour by picking you up in an accessible van, equipped with a ramp making it possible to stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter as we travel through Oslo's city centre. Cruising the streets, we'll pass the most well-known sights including Akershus Fortress built to protect Oslo, Oslo City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded and the Oslo Opera House, finished ahead of time(!). On our way to the Vigeland Park, we'll also catch the National Theatre, and the Royal Palace, located along the main shopping street of Oslo city centre.
Swapping the city centre for the Frogner district, we travel through Oslo's most elegant residential area. Aside from the fact that it's beautiful, what are we doing here? We're here to check out the most awe-inspiring sight of them all, the Vigeland Park. Known as the world's largest sculpture park, created by one man alone, it's the very best that the Norwegian capital has to offer. As we walk through the park, we'll share the story of Gustav Vigeland. The photo opportunities are many, The Monolith, Fountain and Bridge... make sure you are ready!
After our exploration of the Vigeland Park is complete, we cruise back to the city centre and return you to your starting point. You should now have a good starting point to dive deeper into all that is Oslo!
