“The mouth of a perfectly happy man (or woman) is filled with beer.” We couldn’t agree more! On our Södermalm Craft Beer Tour, a private beer tour, we enjoy a tasting adventure in Stockholm’s bohemian area, Södermalm, in the company of your choice.
Your cicerone for the next couple of hours, you ask? None other than a beer judge and guide, ready to take you on a journey to three different locations, on Södermalm, to places you would otherwise not have found. Since this is an area of town where trendy hipster pubs neighbour breweries dating back to the 1800s, it has a lot to offer not only in terms of beer but also history. We’ll dig into both!
Sitting down to sip on a sample, we’ll learn all there is to know about brewing beer and why Södermalm was such a great location for it previously. From all the components needed to the different categories of craftsmen, the importance of good water to brew and ice to control the fermentation process, and the most successful brewers on Södermalm, your beer judge and guide knows it all. Moving on to the present and yourself, have you always wanted to brew your own beer? Your guide will be able to help you with those questions too!

The majority of this tour takes place on Södermalm, where you will have to walk both up and down hills. We suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes.
