Astonishing architecture, an impressive maritime institution and a spectacular drive of the city, on our Stockholm Highlights Accessible Private Driving Tour, we explore the very best that the Swedish capital has to offer!
The story about the tour
Honk, honk! Driving through the city centre, your car comes to a stop at a major highlight of Stockholm! Newlywed couples in the many are gathering in the courtyard for champagne; a politician talking on the phone rushes off, followed by his bodyguard, all while you stop to take a photo of the building’s tower and the view of the Södermalm island across the water. Welcome to Stockholm City Hall! It’s simply amazing, and we’re only on the terrace. Wait until we go inside!
After floating between the elaborate halls of the city’s powerhouse, we’re back outside, rolling down the road on a scenic drive through the city. You spot an island. And another island! And another! You’ll get tired of counting all the islands (we’ll clue you in, there are 14) as we make our way through the city to see all Stockholm has to offer. You are about to get a first-hand glimpse of the city districts of Södermalm, Djurgården, Norrmalm, Östermalm and the Old Town.
As if these Stockholm Highlights weren’t enough, it’s time for one of the biggest “oops” of Swedish history. What was once our greatest failure is today our greatest success story. Hard to believe that the big wreck in front of you spent 333 years on the bottom of the sea, right? Welcome to the Vasa Museum, a true Stockholm Highlight.
We’ll have covered every nook and cranny of Stockholm from one highlight to the next once we are done! Sit back and relax; there will be plenty of opportunities to share photos on social media.

Happy Nobel Day! 💡 As Nobel Week was cancelled in 2020, Nobel lectures, prizes and banquets were replaced with Nobel Week Lights - light installations inspired by Nobel Prize-awarded findings and laureates. As the festivities are now back, we sure hope that we are so lucky that the artwork brightening up the city during the darkest month of the year; is a December tradition that has come to stay. 💫
🇸🇪

It’s a contested issue amongst numerous Baltic connected countries as to who invented the Ice-skate. Was it the Finns or the Dutch? All of this is irrelevant because the best city to ice-skate in is Stockholm. If you want to show off your Quadruple Axel in front of the masses, the ice-rink in Kungsträdgården is the perfect location. ✨⛸️✨

Don`t let its controversy cloud your curiosity as Christianshavns characteristic slanting roofs and canals, as well as the tremendous Church of Our Saviour, are well worth seeing. Not to forget the Færgecafé or Café Parterre who are both worth visiting.
