The story about the tour
Highlights of Stockholm? We’ve got you covered! On our Accessible Private Driving Tour of Stockholm’s Highlights, we’ll dive into the creme de la creme of what Stockholm has to offer.
Beginning with a pickup by an accessible van, we’ll use our 3-pointed seatbelts (a Swedish invention!) and be on our way with a scenic drive passing places like the picturesque Old Town, the modern Norrmalm, and posh Östermalm.
Travelling toward Djurgården, you can see the ship masts from the museum roof poking up in the distance. Decorated with over 700 sculptures and a capacity of 64 canons, the Vasa has a short but impressive story. You won’t believe your eyes when you see this magnificent warship!
If you’re not impressed yet, say hello to the Old Town! With its narrow cobblestoned streets, it’s the oldest (and most bumpy) part of Stockholm. Here, time travel to the Middle Ages, when The Royal Palace, Stockholm Cathedral and Stortorget (“The Main Square”) made up the entire city.
From royalty to politics, the Stockholm City Hall (accessible via ramps and elevator) is the place where both meet… on the 10th of December at the Nobel Banquet. Not only that, but both inside the City Hall and on its lakeside terrace you have spectacular spots for Instagram shots.
To finish off, we’ll return you back to your pickup point, after a days’ adventure. Psst!… We can’t forget to mention that this leisurely tour gives you the opportunity to enjoy some free time or to sit down for lunch if you prefer (not included) between sightseeing.
