Do you wish you could travel through all of Sweden in one day? It’s not quite as difficult as you think. On our Stockholm & Skansen Open Air-Museum Accessible Private Driving Tour, we visit Skansen for a Sweden, in miniature.
The story about the tour
We’ll begin our Stockholm & Skansen Open-Air Museum Accessible Private Driving Tour by picking you up in an accessible van. Complete with a ramp; it is possible to stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter as we travel through town, presenting the highlights of Stockholm. Known for its 14 islands and 57 bridges, the Swedish capital is striking, and together we’ll attempt to see it all! The Diplomat Town, Royal Dramatic Theatre, the King’s Garden, Stockholm City Hall and Parliament – what more could you want? A cultural theme park revolving around Sweden? Coming right up!
Discover Sweden by turning the many corners of this museum. Travel past a farm, a rune stone, a Market Square and a church – all from different parts of Sweden. A little bit further, you’ve arrived at a large amphitheatre with a phenomenal view of the Stockholm harbour. Isn’t Stockholm just beautiful?! Did we mention there are also reindeer, elks and bears? What is this place? It’s Skansen Open-Air Museum, a miniature Sweden waiting to be explored!
Hear tales from a long time ago to the modern-day as we introduce you to Artur Hazelieus, the originator of this wonderfully unique park and museum. Not to forget the Nordic Museum located around the corner; he’s also the founder of that. The Nordic Museum is the queen bee of the impressive architecture we drove past to get onto the island. And that street with all the grand palace-like buildings, you wonder? That’s Strandvägen – Stockholm’s most fashionable address.
Your private driver and guide will make sure that you’re not only well looked after but also properly introduced to the city centre. Hopefully, after our time together, you’ll love Stockholm just as much as we do!

Happy Nobel Day! 💡 As Nobel Week was cancelled in 2020, Nobel lectures, prizes and banquets were replaced with Nobel Week Lights - light installations inspired by Nobel Prize-awarded findings and laureates. As the festivities are now back, we sure hope that we are so lucky that the artwork brightening up the city during the darkest month of the year; is a December tradition that has come to stay. 💫
🇸🇪

It’s a contested issue amongst numerous Baltic connected countries as to who invented the Ice-skate. Was it the Finns or the Dutch? All of this is irrelevant because the best city to ice-skate in is Stockholm. If you want to show off your Quadruple Axel in front of the masses, the ice-rink in Kungsträdgården is the perfect location. ✨⛸️✨

Don`t let its controversy cloud your curiosity as Christianshavns characteristic slanting roofs and canals, as well as the tremendous Church of Our Saviour, are well worth seeing. Not to forget the Færgecafé or Café Parterre who are both worth visiting.
