The story about the tour
Red painted houses, horses grazing in pastures, patches of green forests… this is what connects the port city of Nynäshamn to Stockholm. Less than an hour drive will bring us to Sweden’s beautiful capital on our Stockholm & Vasa Museum Accessible Private Driving Tour from Nynäshamn! Take a short post-breakfast nap or chat with your hosts, your private driver and guide, and before you know it, we’re in Stockholm!
Cruising from one place to the next, we’ll see places like the hip island of Södermalm, the modern Norrmalm, and of course, the medieval Old Town on our scenic drive through the city centre. We’ll drive out to Djurgården, the greenest island of Stockholm home to many museums, including the Vasa Museum (one of our all-time favourites!). Skipping the line to enter, once inside prepare to be awestruck by this grand 1600s warship that is almost entirely original. We’ll navigate between the exhibits (with cobblestone & wooden floors) surrounding the ship via elevator, enjoying both a guided tour and free time to see the rest of the museum.
After our adventures in the Vasa Museum are complete, we board our warship… er… we mean van… and set sail back to Nynäshamn. We’ll have sphours seeing the must-sees in Stockholm; hopefully you’ll want to return and see more.
