Vegetarian restaurants in Stockholm

If it’s one thing we know, it’s the fact that vegetarians can be very looked after in Stockholm when it comes to eating out. More and more restaurants open up and focus on offering delicious vegetarian food. Here’s a few favourites. 

Hermans – buffet with a view
Hermans is a much loved restaurant by both vegetarians and non-vegetarians in Stockholm. Located on a hill on Fjällgatan 23B, it offers a tremendous view over Stockholm and a vegan buffet consisting of fun, organic food. Book your table here.

Matapoteket – a multitude amount of nutrition and vitamins
On Matapoteket, situated by Bondegatan 6 on Södermalm, you can always count on fresh raw food. Here you’ll find salads, wraps, pizzas and burgers – all vegetarian and done with organic raw materials. If you just feel like getting a vitamin injection, try their shots or smoothies!

The Green Queen – organic street food
Every day of the week from 11.00 – 20.00 you can pick up vegetarian food at The Green Queen deli store, located on the corner of Norr Mälarstrand 64. This addition to the food scene in Stockholm offers cuisine that’s mostly ecological and free from lactose and gluten. You’ll find everything from quesadillas, street food, burgers to green smoothies here. Yum!

For the really luxurious vegetarian – Rutabaga
Located in the enriched Grand Hotel in central Stockholm you’ll find one of the most finest (and newest) vegetarian restaurants in the city – Rutabaga.
