What are the must sees in Stockholm, if you ask us?
It’s a hard question to answer, cause it all depends on how long you are visiting, if your aim of the vacation is to stroll and relax, or visit museums and go shopping. To make it easy for ourselves, we’re gonna assume that you have one day in Stockholm. This is what we’d do:
Have breakfast at one of Stockholm’s oldest and most cosiest cafés – Vetekatten. This café is located on Norrmalm, the city center, which will give you a good look of that. Visit Hötorget (Haymarket) for a glimpse of the market that’s open here daily.
Go on our tour that includes some of the must sees of Stockholm, to get a visit to both the Old Town, a ferry trip, a glimpse of Djurgården and a visit to the Vasa Museum.
Take the public transportation tram or boat back to the city center, and continue by foot to Södermalm, the bohemian part of Stockholm. Here we suggest you make your way up to Monteliusvägen, for an incredible view of the city.
Have a fika at one of the many cafés around Mariatorget, go botanizing at second hand stores, before you go back to hotel/boat/airport.
