Oslo’s metro is one of Scandinavias most modern ones. The reason for that could be the fact that it was a late bloomer.
The metro, called “T-banen”, has 101 stations and six lines – a purple, blue, orange, blue, red and green. The total lengths of the trails is 86 kilometers. It wasn’t until the 1950s that the decision of building a metro system was taken. Today it has approx. 94,4 million passengers per year.
