Set out on a quest through the treasure trove that is the Norwegian capital, Oslo. Uncovering hidden gems, fantastic photo spots, and what makes Oslo the city it is today, we’ll escort you on a scenic drive around the city before ending with the treasure of all Oslo treasures. On our Oslo & City Hall Private Driving Tour, we’ll visit one of the most rewarding places when in Oslo, the Oslo City Hall.
Follow the treasure map that is your private driver and accompanying guide through the city centre and see places like the National Theatre, where national treasures have been performed (did someone mention Ibsen?). Architectural treasures such as the Oslo Opera House and Barcode project, and the royal treasures of Akershus Fortress and the Royal Palace.
Before you know it, we’re at the entrance of the Oslo City Hall, just like guests of the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony on December 10th. Entering the main hall, we use our imagination to envision what the hall must look like on the day the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded here in the presence of the King of Norway. Perhaps humble in its appearance on the exterior, the interior is adorned with exquisite artistic craftsmanship, enjoyed by many, such as visitors, locals, politicians and bridal parties.
Having reached the end of our treasure hunt with Oslo’s treasure of all treasures, the Oslo City Hall, rejoin your private driver and vehicle to be escorted back to where you started. Now, living conditions are of course much improved, but there is no such thing as a mild winter here. Bring thermal underwear, wool and grow a beard... if you can. ❄️☃️☃️
