Our Copenhagen & Christiansborg Palace Accessible Private Walking Tour showcases Christiansborg Palace, with its antiques and contemporary gems; it’s an art collection like you’ve never seen before, and the wonderful city of Copenhagen.
To begin, we’ll take to the streets of Copenhagen to really get to know the country’s people. What is the secret that lies behind the happiest people in the world? Since this is an accessible tour, our walkabout of the Danish capital will include the city’s smoothest paths. Uncovering sites like Nyhavn, home to Hans Christian Andersen, Rosenborg Castle, once the summer residence of royalty and Strøget, where Copenhageners go to burn a hole in their pocket, we’ll see a lot of Copenhagen’s inner city.
Arriving at Christiansborg Palace (accessible via ramp), also known as the country’s powerhouse, we’ll get ready to bow for Her Majesty the Queen and take off our hats for the Danish Prime Minister. Mainly used by the Royal Family for various functions and events, like receiving foreign ambassadors and proclaiming Danish monarchs, the exterior can seem a bit grey. Still, we promise you that the interior exhibits beauty like you have never seen before!

Please be at the departure point, Next to the Memorial Anchor (Mindeankeret), Nyhavn 1F, in front of the canal boat tours – located in the City Centre, 10 minutes early to check in for your tour.

This tour ends inside Christiansborg Palace, so guests may continue to enjoy the Palace or nearby sights (it is approx. a 10 min walk back to Nyhavn).
The Palace may be partially or fully closed due to Her Majesty the Queen’s official functions. If the Palace is closed, OURWAY Tours reserves the right to swap the visit to Christiansborg Palace with Rosenborg Castle.
